Why a clean vape tastes better

Most "my vape tastes burnt" complaints we hear at the counter come down to upkeep, not the device. Residue builds up in the tank, old juice gums up the airflow, and a coil pushed past its life drags every new flavour down with it. Ten minutes of cleaning a month keeps a forty dollar device performing like the day you bought it.

Here is the routine our staff actually use.

Weekly: the quick wipe

That is it. Two minutes, no tools.

Monthly: the proper clean

Tanks: empty the tank, pull the coil out, and rinse the glass and metal parts under warm water. Let everything air dry fully before you rebuild. Water left in the airflow is the fastest way to a gurgling tank.

Pods: most pods are sealed, so no rinsing. Wipe the contacts on the pod and inside the device with a dry cotton swab. If a pod tastes off after a wipe and a fresh fill, the pod itself is done.

Mods: keep the 510 connection clean and dry, and check the battery door. If you use removable batteries, read our battery basics guide for the storage habits that matter.

Coils are maintenance, not a purchase

No amount of rinsing revives a spent coil. If flavour stays muted after a clean, the coil is telling you something. Our coil guide covers how long each type lasts and the signs it is finished. We stock replacements for the common device families in the coils and batteries section at every store.

What not to do

Stuck? Bring it in

If a device still misbehaves after a clean and a fresh coil, bring it by. Staff at all five stores troubleshoot this stuff every night, and if the device is done we will tell you straight instead of selling you parts it does not need.

You must be 19+ with government issued photo ID, and we card every visit. All five stores are open 24/7:
